how miracle university will be funded
The state of California offers $15,000 per pupil. For 200 students, there is $3 million dollars the state offers. Miracle University needs $2-4 million dollars during the first year for 500 students. Every year 200 new students will join Miracle University in the 9th grade. During its 4th year, Miracle University will have 800 students. The state will pay $12 million dollars for 800 students. Miracle University will need $4-5 million dollars during its 4th year of operation. Grants will also be written to Foundations
For $12 million, Miracle University will ensure that 800 students, who were once at risk of becoming prey to a vicious cycle of dropping out of school, engaging in crime, violence, getting incarcerated, facing homelessness and costing the economy millions of dollars, will graduate and be on a path to earning admission to a 4-year college or a trade school leading to a high-paying job in the career of their choice.
